Bahia Moon

Bahia de las Angeles, Mexico

Most of the time, when I am out working with my camera; I don’t have a set idea of what the final image is going to look like.  However…Bahia Moon was designed from the start of the trip. 

I had seen a picture in a travel brochure about a place called Bahia de Los Angeles.  I thought it would be a good place to do some work.  When I had looked in the almanac about the time and date that the moon was to rise, and the sun was to set, I put it all together, and here it is. 

I almost missed it!  I had almost run out of gas, I had to go 180 Miles out of my way just to make sure that my tanks were full.  I pulled into this spot where I took this picture, about 15 minutes before the sun set and the moon rise…Just in time!
